Our therapist and owner Jazmyn Boyd-Clark is dedicated to ensuring that each client receives the best possible care. Jazmyn listens to your needs while also being committed to using her professional knowledge of anatomy, physiology and kinesiology in her practice. She utilizes traditional massage techniques, such as Active Release Techniques, Manual Muscle Testing, Functional Movement Assessments; and rehabilitative stretches and strength exercises to affectively assist athletes with injury prevention and continued muscle tension relief after session. She serves on EXOS Sports treatment team of Massage Therapist. Jazmyn has also provided treatment to multiple professional athletes on the Dallas Cowboys, Texas Legend, Dallas Mavericks and pro golf, pro dodgeball and elite runners to say a few.
Jazmyn is a former collegiate athlete so she understands the importance of maintaining a healthy body first hand. Jazmyn is a Licensed Massage Therapist with several certifications to stay current with advances in musculoskeletal care. She is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association which is one of the leading national massage associations. Jazmyn is currently pursing additional rehabilitative and injury prevention specific trainings to better facilitate client recovery.
Her passion for sports, fitness and overall health goes hand-in-hand with her emphasis on the importance of "Healthy Habits, Healthy Body". This philosophy is backed by having a treatment plan catered to each clients specific needs.
When needed, she will provide additional resources for your self care plan. Jazmyn takes pride in helping athletes be able to perform at their best as well as keeping everyone going with an active lifestyle!
The Bodywork you receive at Sport Massage And Rehabilitation Therapy is custom tailored to you and your needs. If you want to address a specific injury or focus area we can focus on that. If you want a general full body session we can do that as well. This overall session is beneficial for athletes and those who sit for long periods of time as well. We highly recommend this type of session for Pro Athletes and Weekend Warriors.
The goal of Swedish Massage is to melt away muscle tension and increase the blood flow to your heart. Swedish Massage is extremely therapeutic as it decreases muscle toxins, increases oxygen levels in the blood, and improves flexibility in the body.
Stretch Therapy is often paired with Swedish and Deep compression techniques. Stretch Therapy is great for getting your muscles warm, increasing elasticity, and reduces muscle tightness. This allows your body to relax and release tension and stress and increase flexibility.
